First Draft of Script

Initial breakdown of scenes that could be included in the piece with the tone and example dialogue added to help start writing dialogue for Dawn.

Second Draft of Script

The first attempt at dialogue for Dawn by Steph.

Third Draft Script

The first attempt at dialogue for Dawn by Catherine.

Fourth Draft of Script

A blend of Staph and Catherine’s script plus some more dialogue added by Catherine.

Fifth Draft of Script

More dialogue added and alternative endings created by Catherine, ready to be created into a formatted script.

First Formatted Script

The finalised script created into the correct format by Georgie.

Second Formatted Script

The final formatted script with a few dialogue changes and scene numbers added in.

 

Directors annotated script for recording

The director Catherine made notes throughout the script on the day before the recording to help her direct the actors. On the day of the recordings she spent a few hours before going through the scripts with the actors explaining how she would like each scene to be played.

Gillene made notes from her talks with the Director Catherine to help her remember how each scene should be played.

Annotated script for editing

To start editing we had to choose which take from recording we liked best, sometimes this would be a blend of two takes. We then put the piece together in order. We then listened through to pick out any changes and additional sounds we needed. This process was repeated several times.
