Georgina Palzeaird-Flaherty – Producer

Georgina first got her taste of working in radio during work experience at her local radio station, Island FM, in 2011. She was lucky enough to write and read the news on air and have voice coaching which sparked her interest in presenting. Since then she has co-presented a show on Lincoln’s community radio station, Siren FM and done work experience at BBC Guernsey and BBC Lincolnshire. Whilst at the University of Lincoln, Georgina has also presented two television programmes for her assessment.

Georgina organised the group and meetings, arranged recordings, managed the blog and supporting the team with their roles. Georgina is responsible for all the paperwork and has the final say in the production.

Catherine Chibnall – Director

Catherine has produced various pieces throughout her studies at the University of Lincoln. She specialises in Radio and Television but also enjoys working in film and theatre. Her experiences have included working on Siren FMs daily news show Siren News, assisting the director of Carousel at London’s Barbican theatre, producing and editing packages for Aesthetic Health, she also produces her own show for Bullet TV.

Catherine is the ‘ear’ of the production. Auditioned the potential characters, cast them and directed them when recording. This included co-writing the script and assisting with the blog. Catherine has also done extensive research on the topic and scriptwriting.

Stephanie McConville – BA

Stephanie has always enjoyed being creative, this was shown through her continuous activity in theatre and choirs. She has also always had a keen interest in the creative industry particularly in film, photography and music. Her love of this was increased when she studied media studies at A level and then went on to join the University of Lincoln to study Media Production. At University Stephanie has tried to take on more technical roles as she already has experience in acting and presenting.

Stephanie recorded sounds such as dialogue, sound effects, wild tracks and auditions, on location and in the studio, setting up the studio ready for recording and controlling Myriad. She also edited the piece together using Audition, helped with the script and assisted with the blog.

CAST

Gillene Herbert

Originally from Wiltshire, Gillene Herbert studied at Trinity College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama before becoming a full-time member of Opera North in 2006, where her roles have included Rosaura the Puppet in The Adventures of Pinocchio (2007 & 2010), Despina in Cosi Fan Tutte (2009), Zorah in Ruddigore(2010/2011) and Masha in The Queen of Spades (2011) and more recently played Julie Jordan in Carousel (2012).

Gillene has also performed with Opera Holland Park, Opera Minima, British Youth Opera, the National Youth Music Theatre and at the Salzburg Festival, Buckingham Palace, the Linbury Studio and the Handel House Musuem.

David Bulley

David Bulley is a second year student at the London college of music studying performing arts. David has always been interested in drama and performance. He has been the lead in many school productions including we will rock you and Jesus Christ superstar. He was also involved in the sky 1 TV show grease and performed the role as teen angel on the west end.
